Colleen is Certified Personal Trainer through NASM, and has been active in the fitness world since 2012. She got her start when she graduated from Drexel and pursued her Les Mills BodyPump Certification. She then began teaching classes part-time at the Drexel Rec Center. It was during this time that she learned to love resistance training and notice the benefits. She later pursued her ACE Group Fitness Certification and began creating her own HIIT and bootcamp classes.
While the fitness side of her life had been just a side gig for many years (graphic design was her full-time gig), Colleen knew there was so much more she could offer the fitness community. In September 2019, Colleen made the leap into full-time fitness. She completed her Personal Trainer certification through NASM and now trains clients 1-on-1 and holds small group trainings outdoors.
Colleen understands what it feels like to know NOTHING about resistance training and the intimidation factor that comes from picking up a set of weights at the gym. She used to be an avid runner, but has learned that in order to stay healthy and really improve her fitness, complimenting it with resistance training was necessary. Resistance training is now the forefront of her training regime and it has been a game changer.
